Vauxahall want to charge me 750 quid to renew my steering column following problems with my eps.
I would like to know if i employ an Auto Electrician would they be able to replace the torque sensor on the column.Apparently this is a common problem with these cars and the simple thing is to replace the sensor and set it up diagnostically.thanks

you could have an electrician replace thge sensor .. setting it up correctly is a different matter .. a replacement unit would be advisable .. ask a non dealer garage to replace the unit !!
