2004 Vauxhall Meriva indicator failure

when i select my left hand indicator the light on my dash goes faster than normal my indicator is not working on the outside. i've changed all the bulbs and the problem persists i've replaced the indicator relay and that also has not cured it what else can i do? . please help.

you need to recheck the bulbs and their connectors .. it is definately a bulb fault ?
