Please can anyone tell me if it is possible to require replacement CV boots on a car 2 years running.

I had one replaced last year in its annual service (an outside one) and today was told I need 3 replaced, one inside and two outside. I have only done just over 5000 miles in the last year.

Have I been ripped off along the line? Has anyone else with a Vauxhall Corsa had a problem with CV boots?

Hi there,

This is a bit unusual, I would have a second opinion, the boots are rubber and can fail, but if they are just crazed and not torn, they are quite serviceable still.

HOW WOULD I HAVE GOT THEM CHECKED. GONE TO ANOTHER GARAGE I SUPPOSE?

Hi there,

It's just a visual inspection, if they are not leaking grease there ok.
