is the clutch cable or not.cannot get into gear.clutch pedal seemed to pop and now cannot use

check the clutch cable at both ends for breaks .. pull on ends to see if the cable comes out in you hand .. it could be the clutch has gone bad .. the bearing could have popped through the springs !!
