52 plate Vauxhall Corsa 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 85000 miles

hi ive got a vauxhall corsa & i want to know where abouts on the engine the engine number would be so i can check to see if it matchies the one on the log book because i think it does not if you could be so kind to tell me were to look as i cant seem to find it

the engine number is found stamped on the engine block, usually in front of the clutch housing !
