1999 Vauxhall Corsa Manual 78,000 miles

Hi there can anyone tell me if my corsa should have a spacer on the clutch cable at the gear box end????

NO I got my uncle to look the car over cos the clutch had slipped and there's no spacer should there be one??

NO ... there is NOT supposed to be a spacer .. the cable could be stretched !
