1997 Vauxhall Corsa reverse lights not working

does anyone know about reversing lights, i have checked wiring that i can see, fuses,bulbs,and connections. all ok but no revers lights on either side work. all other lights do, any ideas please would be gratefull as my wife wont drive it till there fixed lol,.

check/repalce the switch located on the gearbox !

thanks, but tryed this, think it must be a wiring fault.( is there a relay for it in fusebox or just fuses?) thanks.

There is no fuse or relay just for the reverse light's .. but they will be wired through a fuse which controls something else ! (is everything else electrical working) .. I do not have a wiring diagram for this vehicle .. your local library or autoparts store will be able to supply a repair manual with wiring diagrams etc. you also need to check the wirirng.

ok thank you. everything else works so guess it must be wiring, will get it checked out. thanks for your help.
