Engine Performance problem
1997 Vauxhall Corsa 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

Hi, I'm afraid I couldn't supply you with the mileage as the car is not my own. The car in question is having some problems, I suspect with fuel flow.
On occasion, farely frequently, the car is struggling, like chugging along.. It is as if it can't quite get enough fuel into the cylinder. Before I start ripping pieces open and examining them, I was wondering what you thought would be the best place to start. My immediate thought was the fuel filter but as the cars owner is a student money is tight and it would be better to keep the spending down unless its a sure thing. Any help you can offer would be brilliant and accepted with gratitude.
Thanks, Rhys.
