My 1.4. S.O.H.C corsa runs at 1200 revs on tick over, when warm. The engine management faulty light comes on after the car has idled for a short time. This light does not come on if the car is started and driven without stopping.I have fitted a s/h idle speed control motor, but this made no difference. Does the new idle speed control motor need to be programmed to the car?And is the warning light coming on because of the high tick over revs, or could it be caused by another fault?
