2006 Vauxhall Combo timing chain guide

the bolt came loose that holds the timing chain guide for a vexhall combo van
as such we had to rebuild the engine

is this a manufactures fault

you will never get the manufacturer to admit being at fault on this .. the vehicle has been on the road for 3/4 years without incident .. the dealer would have repaired the car if it was still under warrenty when this happened !
