2004 Vauxhall Combo speedometer

I have a vauxhall combo 1700 di and the speedometer is not working. have you got any ideas as to how i can go about finding and fixing the problem.

check the wiring to the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) located on the gearbox .. or replace the actual sensor !! hope this helps
