2004 Vauxhall Combo speedometer

I have a vauxhall combo 1700 di and the speedometer is not working. Have you got any ideas as to how I can go about finding and fixing the problem.

Check the wiring to the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) located on the gearbox .. or replace the actual sensor !!
