2007 Vauxhall Astra changing tyre

we are trying to change the rear drivers side tyre on our car and it seems completely stuck. any ideas?

Alloy wheels swell and contract with road heat ... get behind the wheel with a big hammer and block of wood and hit all around the wheel rim untill it comes off !! hope this helps
