2003 Vauxhall Astra Whilst driving my car makes a high hum

I have a vauxhall astra 1.6i sxi 2003....my mileage is around 86000. When im doing 30 - 60 mph, there is a high hum sounding from the front of the car near the engine. There is no loss in power, water and oil levels are ok. Does anyone know what it could be the problem?

check wheel bearings .. check belt and pulley's .. also alternator/A-C compressor/power steeering pump
