Noises problem
2003 Vauxhall Astra 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When I am driving my car the tappets are very noisy, as soon as you take your foot of the exeleration pedel the noise stops in other words when the car is going slowly. I had a complete oil change on my last service, the garage also put somthing in with the oil to stop the noise but it did not work, any suggestions please, do I need new Tappets.
Many Thanks

try using a better (thicker) grade motor oil in the engine with an oil treatment or replace the hydraulic lifters (tappets) !!
