Hi, I have a 1.7 tdci astra, maybe 5% of the time, whilst braking the pedal goes hard and I have to use alot of force to get any braking. Could it be a case of just bleeding the system?

sounds like you may have a bad brake booster or bad vacuum valve to the booster ?
