2000 Vauxhall Astra 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 77.000 miles

temp gage goes into red soon as i turn the ignition on and then goes back down , already changed temp gage switch and problem still there .

This could just be the gauge check sequence form the PCM if it only stays there for a few seconds ... or check the wiring to the switch and gauge !!
