I have a 1.7 TD LSI Astra and I have been losing oil into my radiator header tank, but there is no signs of water entering the oil sump. The temperature is running at around 90 degrees C and the engine mantaince light come on and stays on at 85 degreesC. Is this a blown head Gasket and if it is would a product like K-Seal be suitable for repairing it? Any info would be greatly appriciated

I suspect the headgasket has blown .. a common fault on this vehicle ... I do not recommend using an additive as these very rarely repair the fault for long ... I recommend replacing the headgasket as this is the only viable long term repair !! hope this help
