I have an 'R' reg vauxhall astra that is constantly overheating. I have to top up the water in the radiator every 2-3 days. It quickly overheats and the fan doesn't seem to be coming on at all. Also the heaters inside the car aren't working (except for when I have just topped up the radiator, for about half a day).
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks for reading.

Replace the engine coolant temperature sensor and ahve a coolant pressure test done to check pump function and also a cylinder compression test to check for faulty headgasket .. most good repair centres will diagnose for free in the hope they get the repair work

Hope this helps .. let me know
