1997 Vauxhall Astra for next mot help

I had an mot and they said I need to get my brakes sored they said the problem was
nearside back brake was working faster than back offside brake
what can I do to sort this out

I don't know what "sored" means ?? ..they could mean scored .. sandpaper them a bit to get more grip.. but this is generally a fault with the brake piston sticking and it just needs cleaning up or replacing ?
