hi i have a 1996 vauxhall astra 1.4 i got it last month.
as pulling away and going up the gears as soon as i hit 3rd it belches out white smoke and fogs the road . my coolant tank is the same level and it clears as i change into fourth gear.

have the cylinders compression tested ! to be sure of no headgasket leak !
