put to much oil in gearbox now lots of white smoke got a friend to drain to normal level left engine running to burn off excess oil from exhaust but still lots of white smoke what can ido to stop this problem

If its burning oil the color should be bluish-White smoke indicates coolant/water burning

too much oil in gearbox will not cause the engine to smoke ... check cylinder compression .. suspect haedgasket failure .. a common fault on this vehicle
