Hi I hope you can,
When driving the S light linked to the automatic gears sometimes flashes on and off which causes the car to drive as if its constantly stuck in 3rd or 4th gear even when pulling away. The only way to get rid of this is to turn the engine off and start again.

It will normaly drive as it should do and when the s is pressed the light will remain on until pressed again - its the flashing thats causing the problem as there seems no reason for it coming on in the first place

the S is for sports mode .. the sensor on the gearbox has probably got a loose connection .. have your mechanic check it out ?
