1993 Vauxhall Astra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 100.00 miles

i have a complete battery drain after having a new water pump and timing belt fitted i bought a new battery it went flat in one day it drains when i put the lights and other things on

Need to have charging system tested. Battery, battery cables/terminals and alternator all need inspected and tested. Part stores such as AutoZone will test the alternator for free, on or off of vehicle. Make sure cables are tight and terminals are free of corrosion.
