In my ignorance I disconnected the airbag from the steering wheel attempting to diagnose a horn button problem.
I did disconnect the battery before removing the airbag assembly but from what I have since learned I should have waited at least 30minutes? Before disconnecting the airbag assembly.
I subsequently reconnected the airbag assembly since which time the airbag dashboard facia warning light stays on all the time.
Can I reset the airbag assembly and/or warning light or will it mean a trip and exorbitant costs to the Vauxhall dealer.
Regards

Try removing battery cables for five minutes then reconnecting. If this does not work theres is a fault on the wiring somewhere and your better of letting a tech do the work. Most garages will do this for you. Does not have to be a dealer.
