Variable CAM codes P1385 and P1388?

So, with these codes the first code will cause the second code. I would make sure the engine oil is clean and full, and if so, I would change out the camshaft oil control valve.

P1385: Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Solenoid B Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2)
P1388: Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Over-Retarded (Bank 2)

Oil looks good but I think its overfilled. I will suck some of it lit and clean the valve first. Left side, you mean on the passenger side? Is the valve under the valve cover is what you saying? The one on top?

Yes, bank 2 is on the left side of the engine. The valve should be sticking out of the valve code. The valve might have a clogged oil screen you may be able to clean.
