Have a stage 3 4l60e. I didn’t notice the dipstick vapor until yesterday, it shifts perfectly on regular rpms high rpms it kind of takes a split second to kick to 3rd gear, checked the transmission temperature and it was at the end of the loop, but I filled it up to the proper level while on the proper temperature and it still smoking but not as bad as before. should I put a bigger transmission cooler since I still have the stock one? I also have a 2800 stall since I have a stage 2 cam.

Yep, the transmission fluid is getting too hot with the stall converter, I would install a good size aftermarket transmission cooler or put the stock torque converter back. You can tap into one of the transmission lines, it doesn't matter which one. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
