Van was working fine, had a dead battery and someone jumped the battery for us. After that experiencing weird behaviors which started off as buck/jerking at 35,000 RPM, then you let your foot off the peddle and back on then when the RPM's drop a little you re-apply the gas and it goes, but now we are experiencing extremely poor gas mileage, and the van is sluggish to take off from a dead stop or actually to just accelerate.

Bad battery cause all kinds of driveability problems. That needs to be done first then driven then scanned for codes and check fuel pressure

The crank sensor could be that or apoor connection. If you can wiggle it and the car stops youneed the connector. Egr can be the valveor it's plugged.
