van shuts off when transmission is shifted into gear

Acted like wasn't getting any fuel. changed fuel filter and it started right up but shuts off when I put in gear.

Hello, I'm Danny.

It sounds like you might have a weak or failing fuel pump that is not supplying enough fuel pressure to keep your van running. Here is a tutorial showing how to perform a fuel pressure test:

The correct fuel pressure specification for your van with key on-engine off is 55-62 PSI. After performing this test get back to us with the results and we'll go from there. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
