Valve issues

I am wondering if I need to take any action on my Hemi. I was told by a machinist that they are starting to see these engines come in with dropped valve seats. Another shop has an engine with a valve that blew through the piston and it is all in the bottom of the engine. $8,000.00 worth of damage. Any feed back would be great. Thanks

Chrysler had problems with the 4.7 like that, but they were high mileage yours may be different. something like this is hard to say until it happens. if you hear hard banging then do not run the engine when it happens as that will lessen damage.
