Turns on in cold and is okay, very smooth running but when you push the accelerator it starts making bad noise (knock knock knock).
I opened the rocker cover other day and started did not see much oil while it was working around the rockers, lifters shafts (I am not sure it was normal or not) only in the cam belt side which the oil pump is pouring oil on the cam shafts.

Can anyone help me please?

Usually valve noise stays constant and just gets faster as you apply throttle. If you are hearing a knock only when you apply throttle it is more likely in the lower end of the engine. Either rod or main bearings. Without actually hearing it that is about as much as I can say. You might try an oil change and see if it improves/worsens.

Thank you so much STEVE W. For your reply.

What about the camshafts and lifters etc which did not have much oil?
Do you think was normal?

Thanks again

Hello,

If I may offer a suggestion, you should rent a manual oil pressure gauge from the auto parts store for free and see what the oil pressure is you might have a plugged oil pick up.

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
