Valve hydraulic roller lifters

Purchase brand new lifters to install with cam. need to know if I should or should not pre oil the new lifters?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, definitely pre-oil before install. If you are in a hurry to install submerge them in a container full of oil and using a push rod manually depress the cup up and down to prime the lifter. If not in a hurry you can just leave them submerged in the canister full of oil for a few days and the air will escape and the lifter will fill with oil.
