I snapped off a bolt on the cylinder head. How do you remove screw? It's not easy to get the drill bit started on the bolt to make a hole for the extractor bit.Its such a small bolt.

Hi,

The only way I know to do this is with a center punch. Basically, center the center punch on the broken bolt and tap it with a hammer to make a center mark. Then use that mark you made to start the drill bit.

It's important to make sure you center it. Otherwise, you could damage the threads if the drill bit hits them.

Let me know if that helps.

Take care,
Joe
