What can I do to fix this whiteout changing valve cover seal?

Oil leaking around the bolt on valve cover

Unfortunately changing the seal is the only way to fix these. Some people will say you can put silicone on it but that will not last long if at all.
I am attaching the process below on how to replace this however, you noted that this was a Chrysler Royal but that vehicle was not produced since the 1950's so I assume you meant a Sebring.
