Have replaced this valve three times in last year. Cannot go through winter losing antifreeze. This valve is leaking where the rod connects to something on the valve. There is a piece where rod connects that if you put finger on it you can feel water dripping out. I have replaced this three times and all three have leaked. Valve is four port. I have no idea why it keeps leaking. Anyone has had any experience with this and knows because I am all ears. Like I said I cannot afford antifreeze and do not need to add to pollution.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dennis

I am starting to think it is not the valve but the hoses and clamps you are using, can you take a quick picture of the problem so we can see? Upload it here

Cheers, Ken

It's not the hoses. It's running out where metal arm is connected in picture. This is4th one in yr. This was is "carquest" although it looks like same mfg. Of last 3. See how long this lasts. Trying to get a motorcraft one but it's like pulling teeth. Around here. Thanks

Thanks I usually buy my parts there. Lately since they put "masterpass" and I forget name for Visa card, I can't get my card accepted. Called c.C. Company n they say it's merchants software. No way to get in touch with rockautocto tell them. Lol had to get this off my chest. That's what I paid for "carquest"vavle. Gonna hunt down a Ford dealer that has one. Thanks for looking that up for me much appreciate. Dennis
