Someone bent the vacuum line to fuel tank I bent it back but has a kink in it when my car gets up in speed or I get on the gas it shuts off. also, air escapes when I take the gas cap off. can I cut the kink out and use a rubber fuel line and clamps and is that my problem?

check fuel pressure if TBI or four cylinder should be 9-11 psi key on and V6 41-47 psi key on only.
