Can a vacuum problem cause 4wd not to engage and ignition not to function some times ( crank shaft position )

If its not starting up could be the crankshaft position sensor, for the vacuum I doubt it on the 4WD

make sure your anit theft isn't engaged for no start. if no manual look online
