Accidentally put wrong UV dye in coolant to locate any leaks. Do I need to drain coolant to prevent any damage?

Was oil base for oil/ATF/gas

Hi,

Short answer is yes. This will not do any major damage but you don't want oil in the cooling system so I would just drain it out and start over. If left in there, it could cause damage to the water pump and other components but won't hurt this quickly. However, I would just get it out and put the right stuff in there.

Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks
