I have an old classic garage kept 40 yr old Mercedes 280 SEL 4.5. I only drive it about 2-5 times a month. Could I still use my 10-15 yr. Old lead substitute I still have in stock to add to the gasoline until I buy newer bottles later this year. Please advise. Many thanks, Bill

With the limited driving you do that will be fine, any of the valve saver additives will be ok.

Great - Thanks soo much for your reply. I still have STP lead substitute which STP stopped making for the interim. But I plan to buy more from other manufacturers shortly. In the interim I feel much more at ease using the older lead substitute I still have in storage from over the years. Many thanks again for you advice.
