Replaced engine new engine will not stay running. It will start then shut off if I give it the pedal. It misfires but will run rough popping and shuddering as soon as I let off the gas pedal it quits. Check engine light comes on and sets a p0300 code, random misfires. Every thing hooked up right and should run but I cannot figure it out by my self. Will not run long enough for me to get out and look for problems.

If you are sure all connections are okay? Check for a vacuum leak at the induction manifold.

What was the issue with the old engine? What is your fuel pressure like and have you double checked for any leaks? P0300's are common with low fuel pressure and vacuum leaks.
