Can I use a 4wd gearbox in a 2wd vehicle

One of the hoses burst and brother messed up the whole thing. he gave me a 4wd gear box but i have a 2wd car .can i use the gear box?

Unfortunately, no the two transmissions have a different output shaft length and will not be compatible. You will have to use a 2wd version.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
