This depends on how and where it is leaking. If it is leaking from one of the ends then it could just be a hose clamp not being tight enough. However, if it is from the middle or the end of the hose is split then the hose needs to be replaced.

Let us know if you have other questions. Maybe get a picture of the hose and the area of concern and we can give other ideas if needed. Thanks

Hi KASEKENNY1,

Thank you for such a prompt response. As per my attached picture, the leak is coming from the end on the radiator side and not the engine side, unfortunately I am not able to locate the end of the clamp to tighten it up. It looks like the clamp there is not the normal adjustable one and is mounted on a plastic joint. I hope this provide enough clarity.

I am sorry. The picture did not attach. Can you try it again so we can get on the same page? I am sure once seeing the clamp I will be able to help with some ideas. Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for the response. Please see attached picture, it looks like there is no clamp but just a silver ring around the hose and a plastic connector to the radiator.

Thanks for the picture. That is not a clamp that you can tighten. That is a molded line that has what is called a tension clamp installed on it. I attached a picture of the replacement line and as you can see it comes with that already installed and the elbow is where you disconnect it. If this is leaking then you need to replace the whole hose. Unfortunately it is not one that you can tighten or you will crack the molded plastic and it will leak worse.

KASEKENNY1,

I have another issue related to the same car, my dashboard control buttons are not working and that include my airbag light on the gear liver panel, hazard indicator button, rear head rest button and the central lock/unlock button, , I have checked all the fuses and they are all okay, unfortunately am struggling to locate the electronic fuse as is mentioned in the fuse chart. This only happened few days ago when I went to the filling station to fill up and check my water level, the attended pushed the hood very hard when closing it and thereafter I realized that the buttons have stopped working and my hazards cannot switch on when I press the hazard button. Do you perhaps have any idea what might be the cause. Thank you in advance once again.
