Yesterday on my way home from work, check engine light blinked for about 15 seconds then turned off so I took it to auto zone. It came up P1399, random cylinder misfires. Today on my way TO work my check engine light came on and stayed on. Took it back to auto zone and it spit a P0113 code, intake air temp sensor. Could these problems be related and if so, what should I start with? If not, what should be done. 1999 civic lx 1.6L.

P1399 is misfire pending confirmation.

The Intake Air Temperature sensor fault could be due to a loose wire etc and it can cause misfirings and performance related issues.

Clear the code, check the IAT connections ans wiring and retest. If problem returns recheck the code and proceed with diagnostics if necessary.
