Lost my remote key, is there a way to manually open the hood?

Hi,

On the left side of the steering column, there should be a release lever that is attached to a cable and runs to the hood release.

If you look below, pic 1 shows the location it should be. Pic 2 just shows the lever. Locate the lever and gently pull it toward you. The hood should pop to open to the safety latch. Then you can release that by hand from the front of the hood.
