Car ran fine, parked car and battery ran down. recharged battery and won't start (cranks fine). expect this to be caused by security system (everything checks out but gets no spark). how do I reset or disable the security system for good?

Thanks for your reply. Step 1 worked. I locked the car with all doors and trunk closed (I used the spare key because I was not able to do it with the remote because it cycled through locked and unlocked).. Walked away and let it sit (instead of the 15 minutes, I had to leave it overnight because of time restrictions). I unlocked it with the remote (was unable to do it with a regular key) and was able to start it.
