U-Haul truck had been stolen and recovered?

The key does not have a chip and there is no key fob. It says service theft deterrent system and doesn’t crank over. How can I reset it?

In older cars you can reprogram the computer and security by disconnecting the positive side of the battery, then wait a minute then touch negative side of the battery. This might help reset the computer. As I said this is old school and I don't know if it will work in a 2022. There are others on her that know more about it. If you need more help we are here.

The key does have a chip in it, is the security light flashing when you crank it over? If so, the ignition switch must be coded to the van before it will run. Here are the instructions on how to do the job in the images below. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
