Engine not starting and error code is "U1433-23". BCM has been replaced, ignition switch is also ON. What can be the possible cause of engine not starting?

Hi,

The code is specific to the ignition switch. Does this have a push button start or key? Let me know that. Also, I need to know which engine you have, the V6 or V8.

Note: Since you have a new BCM, there could be an issue with the RF hub (I believe) mounted to the rear interior of the cab behind the trim below the sliding rear window. If the hub has failed, the RF signal isn't present, so the vehicle doesn't know the key is present.

Let me know.

Joe

Thank you so much for the response Joe.

The engine is V8 and push button start. Ignition switch is ON, it's just not starting and I was already doubting fault with the RF hub. Can you please guide me with a diagram or something with regards to the input, output or voltage of RF hub and which wire should I check?

P.S if I replace the RF hubs does it needs to be programmed? If yes, how to programe it?

I need the engine size. Is it the 3.6L or the 5.7L?

Hi,

I attached the RF hub verification diagnostics below. As for your other questions, if it is replaced, yes, it will need programmed. I can provide that info if needed.

Let me know.

Joe
