U joint replacement?

Hello I have the vehicle listed above and I am having to replace my rear u joint, but my pinion gear has a lot of movement.

Can you upload a short video of the moment? Some movement is normal, can I ask of the rear end howls while driving? Here is a guide to help you change the U joints out:
