Have the sensor taken out as its broken need to know if the stem to put a new one on is metal or rubber for my car as auto parts have universal ones that have both rubber and metal stems.

Hi,

The original equipment part number is 9L3Z1A189A. Based on that part number, it has a rubber valve stem.

If you plan to replace the sensor, you will need to remove the tire or at least break the bead on the side wall to access the sensor.

I attached a pic below showing the sensor.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
