Turns over but will not start

I have a blown head gasket so my boyfriend bought the head gasket kit, took everything a part and put it back together. And now it won't start. Please help.

Hello,

When you turn the key on without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump in the tank turn on for five seconds? This guide will help us get started.
