Replaced lower intake manifold, had to cut wires to get to the lower manifold and now it won't fire. Replaced starter battery and half of my gauges don't work.

Hi,

What wires were cut? Have you repaired them? Also, is there any indication the engine is trying to start? Will it start for a couple of seconds using starting fluid?

I need to know what was cut and how it was repaired. If possible, take a few pics of what was done so I can see it. Also, if you can record it cranking so I can hear it, it may help me.

Take care,
Joe

Hi,

Here are the wiring schematics for the engine and starter system. Hopefully, they will help guide you. Additionally, here is a link that explains how to check the wiring:

Pic 1 is the starting system and the remaining pics are the powertrain management schematics.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
